Zimbabwe itinerary
Day 01

Victoria Falls

Arrive at Victoria Falls and begin at the world-famous cascade known as the “Smoke that Thunders.” The Zimbabwe side offers most of the viewpoints, with rainforest spray and dramatic river scenery setting the tone for the trip.

Day 02

Victoria Falls Activities

Spend the day on the Zambezi with official Victoria Falls experiences such as a Flight of Angels, white-water rafting, a boat cruise, zip line, gorge swing, bungee jumping, or a rainforest tour. It is the best place in Zimbabwe for pure adrenaline and iconic scenery.

Day 03

Hwange National Park

Travel to Hwange, Zimbabwe’s largest and most popular park, known for excellent wildlife viewing and its elephant-rich waterholes during the dry season. The landscape is classic safari country with big-game potential throughout the day.

Day 04

Hwange Safari Day

Enjoy a full safari day in Hwange with game drives and birding across open plains and waterholes. This is one of the strongest places in the country for seeing large safari animals in a wide, uncluttered setting.

Day 05

Matobo Hills

Continue to Matobo National Park, Zimbabwe’s oldest national park, famous for its granite kopjes and wooded valleys. The scenery feels ancient and sculpted, with a strong mix of wildlife, landscape, and heritage.

Day 06

Great Zimbabwe

Visit Great Zimbabwe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe in the Late Iron Age. Its massive stone walls, built without mortar, make it one of the country’s most important cultural landmarks.

Day 07

Eastern Highlands

Head into the Eastern Highlands, where Zimbabwe Tourism highlights Pungwe Falls, Vumba Botanical Garden, Nyangombe Falls, Mtarazi Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. The region brings cooler air, forested slopes, and some of the country’s most scenic mountain landscapes.

Day 08

Harare & Departure

End in Harare with a relaxed city stop at the National Gallery, Mukuvisi Woodlands, or a short excursion to Domboshava Caves for countryside views and walking trails. It is a calm final note before departure.
